This is 7rock. A 7 player open space map created by [b]Ntanel StormBlade[/b]

The map gives no natural protection (asteroids, Nebula) for your fleet. The best defensive positions on the map are the four corner positions as they really only have one adjacent opponent (the other is too far away to be consider a direct threat). The centre position is possibly the hardest to defend as it is open to attack from all sides really. The two middle positions to the extreme left and right are also difficult to defend as you will face attacks from above, below and to your openside from the centre. This map really requires a line of turrets to be built to mark your territory and thus defend it.

Another interesting map, fight against 6 Hard AI's allied together while you're in the central position and you might get another "Battle for Crusis Major".
