Airbender

I have returned once again, with the gift of Airbender. My first thought upon opening up the model was "What is this? And what is it supposed to be?" A quick look through the mythical Spyglass of Google revealed to me that this truly isn't what it's hailed as. It's a Jedi with his hair dyed uniformly dark pink/tan and with an added dose some sloppy blue paint for good measure. It's supposed to be a bald guy in tan clothes with a blue arrow-shaped tattoo over the top of his head and the backs of his hands. The similarities end with the blue, sadly. I wish I could say something good about it, such as "a point for the effort" but unfortunately there's next to no effort involved.

In the end, this whole thing reeks of carelessness. What could be done better? Pretty much everything. Select a better model, look up some texturing tutorials, post a WIP thread on the forums and listen to people when they suggest improvements. And practice. Lots of practice. One doesn't become a master overnight.
