Description [i]More[/i] duel maps, I hear you say? Yep. And this time, JK3\'s getting the new content treatment.
Anyway, what we have here is a small map pack containing four duel maps. Hoth, Walkways, Starship, and Temple. To go through them in order...
[i]Hoth:[/i] Simple enough room, and it looks how you\'d expect. The lighting is sort of plain, but it fits the Echo Base theme just about right. The panels on the floor, and the icicles are breakable, but they all explode, and they really shouldn\'t. Not according to the laws of physics and chemistry, anyway.
[i]Walkways:[/i] A simple map which should make for some tricky dueling. Multiple walkways are laid across a cuboid room on different levels. The lighting here is less bland, but predicatble, and the texturing and overall style is rather simple.
[i]Starship:[/i] A pretty decent duel map based in the bridge of a starship. It makes a good environment for duels, since you need to think quick and the limited space gives you something else to consider. The lighting here is almost uniform, which is bad, but then, you\'d expect uniform lighting in a control room.
[i]Temple:[/i] An open Vjun-style map, good for open, even-level dueling, and has a nice tactical edge to it too. Be careful of the pits. Again, simple, almost uniform lighting, and a predictable but appropriate texturing choice.
All in all, these four maps are pretty standard-issue. What you\'d expect out of a typical duel map, nothing really special, but nothing bad either.
