Description
Cybertron, home planet of the Transformers race, now left without power due to war.
For the people who are unaware what Cybertron is (including me btw)
this version is loosely based off the 2007 video game. the map is mostly unfinshed and bland, due to lack of knowlage in photoshop or any other texturing programs
The author is aware that his map is not the best and I applaud you for that sir. It is a lot easier to point out suggestions for the creator if the creator is aware of his/her mistakes. And here we goooo.
Cybertron, the home planet of the Transformers. You know, those cars that turn into robots? Don't you wish you had one? This planet once may have stood proud, yet due to war there is no power, which I assume is what makes the Transformers live, because their robots! That's pretty obvious. I guess power to them is like what food is to us. Imagine a world with no food, and everybody died. I guess that is what this map is about. On to the architecture.
The architecture, as I previously mentioned, and you probably read about a second ago, is... decent. If this is the authors first map, then you have dun well. Most people start off with just squares, and floating squares. But but but but but but I tell this to alot of people..... LIGHT. Yes, I said light. Some people are going to say "Autuhran!1 What r u stupid or somthing? This map has light!" If it had light, it would have shadows. The underpart of things such as bridges and platforms would be a dark color. Trust me, every map needs light. That is just like... essential. If a map doesn't have light it looks goofy and unnatural. Stretch your textures, too. For example, you have a rock, or a rock wall. You apply a texture to it. But it looks like a million of them all formed together into a tiny grid. This is why you need to use Surface Inspector to stretch it, which is why it looks good in singeplayer, because Ravensoft stretched it. Therefore it gets rid of the repetitiveness, and looks a hole lot better. I'll just leave the explorin' for you peoplez this time. Enjoy.
