Demp To LJ-50 Concussion Rifle

Wow, what a cool little mod we have here! If like me, you played Republic Commando and enjoyed it, despite its short length you may well be interested in this new weapon effect mod. What it does is change the weapon fire effects for both firing modes of the DEMP-2 rifle to something more akin to the firing effects of the LJ-50 Concussion Rifle as seen in Republic Commando (which was one of my favourite weapons!).

The new effects look really good, gone are the electric blob effects of the default DEMP-2; now it fires a sort of canister followed by a blue smoky trail, the next thing an energy ball grows and then implodes in a flash of light. All of this is very accurate to the way the weapon fires in Republic Commando, and an added bonus is that there are also new weapon sounds from the game itself!

Overall this is a really cool little mod, although I would really like to se a mod which also replaces the DEMP-2 model with a new model representing the LJ-50 Concussion Rifle from Republic Commando. A new weapon model combined with these effects would make an ace mod! :D
