Flashpoint

Description
This is a large, enjoyable, well done space map. It's kind of like a hedge maze in space, except that small ships can sneak through the bushes and large ships can too, but they'll get scratched up something awful. I also really like how the clear lanes that large ships can pass through are big enough to accommodate several ships and allow large scale fights.

Although I'm not a big fan of symmetrical maps, that one was done well enough that it didn't put me off. It's got a few items that are not the same on both sides, which gives the illusion of realism.

This is an idea that I would add to a mod if/when I make one. Where hyperspace lanes cross, make it a place that can be controlled. I'm going to keep this map for that time.
