Ganondorf (Twilight Princess)

There are many characters that seek to claim the mantle of the King of Evil, as far as the Zelda games go at least the bad guy who gets the crown is Ganondorf! I don’t really know much at all about the Zelda games, or their characters, but really you don’t need to, to appreciate that this guy is one scary guy! The combination of that greyish skin and fiery orange hair is pretty striking. And just look at that nose! Only bad guys have noses like that…

What we have here is a reskin of the Ganondorf model by Antizac to make the character appear as he does in Twilight Princess. So does this reskin do this guy justice?

Well, the short answer is yes! This is a really impressive reskin, the quality of the skinning and the textures is very good and all the different textures fit and blend together well. The armour is pretty ornate and looks cool as well, but I think one of the best parts was the cape, which the author has had to research quite a bit to get the look just right. Rounding off the skin nicely is team support and new sounds, although there isn’t any bot support, which is a shame since that would have made a full house.

There are also a few other things that I think could be worked on, though these are mostly minor. Firstly I think the textures could be slightly higher resolution, as they look a little blurry in places. Also I would really love to see that sword that is in the screenshots below included as well, as that would round the mod off nicely. That’s just a suggestion though. Lastly, as I mentioned above, I would also like to see some bot support, though that is really only a minor thing.

Overall this is impressive work here from Tyrael, if you are a fan of the Zelda series or just fancy playing as a really creepy bad guy, then make sure to give this a download! :D
