Description *brushes off the dust on my review tablet*
Oh my! It's been quite a while but I have returned from the moon. For those of you who want to know what I was doing on the moon, well, I went to visit Nozy and he made me clean the castle... >_>
To start off, here we have a skinpack of Imperial Zombies. Wait, what? The Empire is transforming their armies into zombies now? What in the-- It just gets worse everyday! Anyways, the pack consists of four ''infected'' Imperial characters: Zombie Reborn, Zombie Stormtrooper, Zombie Stormtrooper Officer and a Zombie Imperial Officer. Each skin is unique and has new sounds!
First on the list we have the Zombie Reborn. You'll notice that he is covered in blood in most places and looks fairly scary. The blood effect adds an even darker mood to the Reborn. The author also gave the reborn a re-color and made the face hardly visible to add to the ''zombie'' theme. If you look close-up, you can see the Reborn's eyes.
Next we have the Zombie Stormtrooper and the Stormtrooper Officer. The author decided not to re-color the stormtroopers, but it was a good idea if you ask me. It makes the blood effect much more visible on top of a lighter color. Besides that, there isn't much else to say about these two.
Lastly we have the Imperial Officer. Just like the stormtroopers, the author didn't re-color the imperial. The only noticeable additions is the obvious blood effect and the freaky white eyes. They remind of something from a horror movie or the Witch from Left 4 Dead.
Ah well, I've saved the best feature for last! The author added new sounds for each of the skins. As mentioned in the readme, the sounds were used from Half-Life 2. Each sound below corresponds with each skin:
Stormtrooper and Stormtrooper Officer: Uses the Combine Zombie sound files.
Reborn and Imperial Officer: Uses the Classic Zombie/Fast Zombie/Poison Zombie sound files.
Overall, this isn't a bad first skinpack. Although, I'd recommend that if you plan on having a V2, you should improve the blood textures a bit and make each of the skins seem, well, more realistic if possible. Other than that, you did a pretty good job! This is definitely worth a download if you're into the whole ''zombies'' fab or just need something new to play as.
