This map was... a pleasant surprise. I don't know whether it was the author's first map, but he does say in his readme that he's "still learning" and (although I suppose we all are) my supposition was that it would be indicative of a first-time modder.

It was, if nothing else, [i]not that[/i]. This may actually be the smallest map I've ever played, although I think it's a great example of why I always say to "aim small" in terms of map size. This is a very small interior map, and it [i]works[/i]. Well. It's a great use of the Coruscant Temple assets (including some of the unused Coruscant assets), and despite the fact that piecing together a map like that (especially an interior one) can look bad, this one avoided that danger. I didn't see any object placement errors, which is fantastic.

And here's the kicker - I don't think there's anything really [i]wrong[/i] with this map. It works well and I didn't see any errors. It is very simple, true. And a loadscreen would be a nice touch and (of course) the sky - which is only visible through one window - could be changed to something more fitting (the Yavin sky's "half-horizon" is really visible here). Honestly, though, even the Yavin sky, which I'd normally be up in arms about, isn't a big deal (since you only see it once). This is just a nice, simple, small map. Give it a shot, it's worth the small download.
