Naboo Nights

This is one of the great maps. I'm keeping this one in my CustomMaps folder. It's like eyecandy, I almost couldn't get enough. I'm not sure if I'm sold on the night aspect because it seems a little too dark. However, the moon reflection on the water is really awesome.

It's very large map for big fights. Since I used a lot of props the map will lag on slower machines, especially in multiplayer.

I experienced some lag, so I turned the detail down and it was fine. The props and their placement is done so well I'm sold that this is some city on Naboo. Each team starts out away from the city on either side of it and has different options for attack. The most direct route is through the heart of the city, but it is narrow and is ripe for an ambush. There is another option that takes you on the north edge of the city, but it can have similar results. The best way for a full frontal attack is to take the northernmost route. Outside the city areas there are large expanses that make for good battle sites. Of course, there's also the option for repulsorlift vehicles to skim over the water and go up the beaches, but that leads to other problems.
