Description
I really don\'t see what\'s shiny about this at all. It\'s little more than a Snowtrooper liberally sprayed with white and green paint.

In concept, it\'s good, but in practice, it fails. Aside from the apparent glow effect being missing, there\'s little \'shine\' to the skin, and instead there are just errors. Many of these are with the mesh - yep, that\'s right there are actual tears in the mesh. Then, there\'s the low quality of the skinning job. In fact, it\'s hard to call it \"skinning\", since as far as I can see it\'s just random white and green overlays thrown in.

It\'s a good effort, but a bad execution, I\'m afraid. The author made a good try, but this falls short of the mark.

Advice to the author? Well, aside from making sure everything works before submitting it (as many aspects of this skin don\'t), try creating some new textures to cover the model, rather than spraying it with a bit of green. You\'ll get a lot further doing actual skinning than semi-recoloring, and you\'ll find that creating new textures is a much more enjoyable and rewarding experience than simply applying a few layers to a pre-existing one.

For the downloaders, well, this has a nice enough look to it if you can get past the extremely noticable rips in the model\'s mesh, so if you like it, go ahead and grab it.

Sadly, this is one of those files which just makes me think \"What was the point?\"...
