Description
Quickly following on from his recent Crusher sword, DiNeRo now brings us a v2! This time the hilt guard has been completely redesigned, new textures have been used and a new stance is also included!

Righto, lets have a look at this in more detail then. The sword blade itself seems to be styled after anime / manga style swords, as it is rather oversized compared to the player character. The modelling job on the blade is very good, with a subtle groove running down the center and the little kinks on the edge of the blade are a nice detail. Just to reinforce the point (pun intended) the blade also has a smattering of blood textured on it.

The hilt guard has been completely redesigned, and now also fits more with the anime / manga style of sword. Though saying that…I also think that its shape reminds me of something out of Lord of the Rings!

The new stance that has been included is similar to how samurai are often pictured holding their sword, with the blade held behind them, ready to slash upwards, probably cutting some poor unfortunate person in two. The new stance especially was a nice touch I thought, as it adds that bit extra to the mod.

What about things to be improved upon? Well to be honest I don’t really know what could be improved upon here. The model is simple, but looks good, so there isn’t really much that can go wrong. Personally I would like to see a sword pack with more similar kinds of swords. I would also definitely like to see a more real-world proportioned version of this sword, as I think that would look cool.

All in all, good work here and a solid improvement over the original. I look forward to seeing more work from you mate! :)
