Description Well, well, whaddya know, it's a Buster Sword that's not a "hilariously oversized baseball bat". Don't even get me started on Square-Enix's complete lack of originality, but at least they didn't give Cloud a cameo this time (that part of FF Tactics was the worst sidequest ever).
Anyway, this sword is wielded by Gilgamesh, for those who don't know, during (apparently) the "Ancient Man of Mystery" hunt. Those who don't know who Gilgamesh is don't really need a synopsis here - suffice to say he/she/it's a serial sword thief within the FF universe that's packing every WMS ever made by Square-Enix.
This Buster Sword is inherently much shorter than the FF7 variant, and has two extra materia slots (although materia don't exist in FFXII, go figure). Other than that, it's pretty much the same thing.
The texture of the sword matches up pretty well with all the screenshots of Gilgamesh using this thing that were sent to me over MSN, even the symbol is accurate to the game. Admittedly I was a little concerned about how that symbol would look, but it's come out OK. One part that could use a little more detail is the hilt - the detail is there, I just have a hard time seeing it, while in FFXII it's clearly visible. That's just a minor tweak suggestion, though. Between the WIP thread, and Kessno and Gir's respective input, all the problems seem to have been ironed out.
Well, I can certainly see no problems with this, so I'm gettin' the hell out of the way before the fanboy stampede begins.
