Description Moo.
You may find this intro to be somewhat mooserific (disclaimer: mooserific is now a real word), but hey, I have to think of something, right? :P
In any case...remember the [file="112943"]Random Sword Pack[/file]?
A 6th version has appeared. New in this version are 4 new sabers: a Hylian shield, Blue Tang, Word of god & a U.S. Cavalry saber.
Now, firstly, the Legend of Zelda Hylian shield (screenshot #1).
Being extremely heretical, I've never played any Legend of Zelda games, but Google tells me it's pretty much accurate. My only gripe is it doesn't actually work well as shield - not only does it not properly block stuff (which is semi-inevitable, I admit), it also looks kind of awkward in combination with most other swords in this pack animations-wise. At the very least, I'd love to see a new idle animation for the shield.
Still, the shield itself looks fine to me.
Next, the Blue Tang (screenshot #2).
In short, it is exactly what you see on the screenshot, including idle animation.
I cannot help but wonder why it's called BLUE Tang, but other than that, it works fine and looks fine.
The Word of god (screenshot #3) next up.
Honestly, should've called this one Blue Tang ;)
Other than that, once again, looks fine & works fine. This (s)word comes with some very fancy effects if you hit a wall or a player. The one you see if you hit a player looks alright, but the one you see if you hit a wall is awesome. No, seriously, fancy lightning is fancy. ;)
Finally, the real treat: one United States 1800's era Cavalry sword of the North (screenshot #4).
Basically, this was the one I really loved every moment of - as you can see, a working, good-looking cavalry saber. I'm keeping this one.
In any case, in the words of Darth Java...now go crazy.
