Description Voodoo Weapons have returned in a version 2. Fear, and behold:
Ah yes, voodoo. Childs play magic, so far as I'm concerned, but still amusing regardless =_,=
Enclosed are two weapons, or more specifically, a "sword" and "shield" by their functions. The "sword" is a voodoo doll with one humongous needle sticking out of it o_O; seriously, it's huge. The shield is a trio of skulls, which I found to be amusing =_,=
Well, there's only one other thing I really want to say about this mod before turning it over to you all: Saber sounds. Probably the biggest injury the mod technically suffers from. Some custom or solid object sounds were definitely needed.
Otherwise, an amusing pack of weapons. SUBMIT BANDWIDTH AT YOUR OWN RISK
Every error mentioned has been fixed, but some things were left in the process.
The needle's trail still remains from the previous version, so perhaps that could be addressed somehow. Also, there seems to be a odd line that appears in front of the player when the weapon is swung, and when it is thrown, that same line appears going in a vertical axis.
I really really enjoy the awesome voodoo doll idle sound =_,= it sounds perfectly macabre and evil. The skulls, however, need some work. Whilst the sound in essence is awesome, it's too linear in the sense that the idle sound provided wasn't made to be looped. It was a good approach, but it sort of detracts when you can tell when it loops back. Perhaps fixing up that particular sound with a sound program would work. Worst case scenario, find another. I'm sure there's plenty more where that came from. My final suggestion: The monster noise swings might have been a bit much. You prolly coulda gotten away with something a little less obtuse.
Overall, however, it's a definite improvement. Definitely something to play around with, and I use that term heavily, as these weapons have damage scale.
