Description
Previously on The Fugitive (SPOILERS!!):

In 1881, Samuel Hamilton has travelled to the castle where his friend Xenophilius had been held captive as a prisoner after an illegal expedition attempt to the castle Marius, the world-renowned scientist was living in. Marius found Xenophilius and his expedition crew in his sacred halls, studying and examining the area, whereas he later on after capturing them placing them in the dungeons. Samuel entered the castle and discovered that the western part of the castle had been abandoned where none of Marius workers were to be found. But with investigation of the written logs discuss that Xenophilius and his crew was able to show persistence in dealing with pain and affliction, which therefore was enough to promote Xenophilius and his crew to become close workers to Marius plans. Shortly after, Samuel was found by servants and knocked out of consciousness.

With his life scarcely left, he escaped the prison and was searching for any clues on Marius or Xenophilius whereabouts. He found himself being in a giant city, that had been built inside a cave. Xenophilius last known location was in one of the castles in the city. He entered the castle with all haste and found a servant in there. Despite it very clearly saw Samuel, he ignored him completely and went through a giant door. Samuel followed the servant behind him, up to a staircase. When he entered, he couldn't see the servant anymore. Suddently, he heard a scream. A scream of pain. Samuel ran as quickly as possible to the source of the sound and saw the servant walking past him, not so much as acknowledge Samuel. In the room where Samuel was, he found a dead man. That man was Xenophilius. Xenophilius had been murdered by that servant and Samuel was sitting on his knees chocked. Next to Xenophilius, lay a note, ripped out from a book. It said that Marius was planning to bring Lucifer to this world and destroy the human race.
Instead of saving Xenophilius, Samuel had now another mission. To stop Marius from releasing Lucifer to the world and save the human race.
