Description Fresh from Pizza the Hutt's kitbash factory comes this.... interesting design. I don't like it. I'm not going to lie to you about this one: the Carpathia class is probably one of the most "wtf?" worthy designs that I've seen lately. But there's method to Pizza the Hutt's madness: he's borrowing the overall starship design forms from the recently-depicted USS Kelvin, as it will be seen (and apparently destroyed) in the upcoming Star Trek film. This is a possible successor to that design, and it's so intended.
As always with Pizza the Hutt's work, the quality of the overall design (this one seems to use P81 textures) is assured, and all the things you'd want to have --build buttons, wireframes and Admirals Log pics-- are included. Best of all, it's done in the spirit of the upcoming Trek film, and like it or hate it, all our hopes for the franchise to continue are pinned to the success of that film.
