Indian Stormtrooper

Hmm. Looking at the skin. Looking closer. Closer still. Nope, I still don\'t really see the Apache in this. For an intention of making the stormtrooper look more Native American, I can see no elements of Native American culture in here, and \"indian\" is the last thing I think of. Except for the fact the red smudges look like that tandoori I had last week, which was more like vindaloo. Aye, but \'twas yummy.

I think I can summarise this skin in one sentence, actually, even without proper sentence structure. Stormtrooper, dirt marks, red squiggles. See? Simple. However, this is where we have an enigma. The dirt marks and smudging is all competently done, lightly brushed on, random but not so random as to not make sense, and blended for normalisation. But then we have the red. Plastered on, with no reason nor rhyme, no attempts at blending of any sort and a complete disregard for where parts of the mesh appear [i]over[/i] the torso textures such as the thing on the back of the belt, or the parts in the box on Mr Stormtrooper\'s back (still don\'t know what the heck those are for) resulting in inconsistent texture placement.

Puzzling puzzle, no doubt. But regardless, the red squiggling kind of lets this skin down. And even without those, it doesn\'t come close to portraying a Native American theme. Sorry, just doesn\'t. But for a worn and dirty stormtrooper armor, this would be pretty good without all the MS Paint red.

On the plus side, though, only the modified textures are in the pk3, cutting down on unnecessarily wasted filesize. That does mean, however, that you have an overwrite of the default stormtrooper.
