It’s a knockout! Well, a Kyle knockout anyway!

What we have here is a rather badly beaten up Kyle, hence the ‘Kyle Knockout’ title. There are two skins in this pack, although I’m not sure what the difference is supposed to be other than Kyle’s apparent injuries. Both skins feature a healthy (or unhealthy, should I say) smattering of what appear to be blood stains. Added to that Kyle now has rather bloodshot eyes. One of the skins features a very prominent black eye, so poor Kyle must have been in one heck of a fight…with who exactly is left to the imagination of the downloader. At first I thought maybe it was from a fistfight with Desann…but then I thought maybe Jan had a bad day, ‘hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’ as they say… ;)

Ehhmm…. anyway, the skins also feature what look like a lot of cuts, all over Kyle, and also a lot of black dots. Now, this is where I think there could be some improvements. The black dots especially looked out of place and I am not sure exactly what they are supposed to represent (although I think they are actually blaster burn marks). Also I noticed a lot of the cuts, bruises and also the black dots appeared to be much the same on each side of the skin, as though one half of the skin had just been mirrored.

Other than that I would say that one of the skins really has rather too much red on it, I’m presuming that it is supposed to be blood, but there is a bit too much of it on the skin and it doesn’t look quite right. The most noticeable thing though is the lack of team support, definitely something to add for next time.

Overall it looks like Jan..ermm or maybe Desann has given Kyle a good working over here! This is a decent skin here, although I definitely think it needs quite a bit more work. Keep up the skinning mate, I look forward to seeing more files from you! :)
