Description The one thing about playing both of the [i]Knights of the Old Republic[/i] games is you always fight right-handed. No lefties exist in that world. Overall it was probably easier to make everybody right-handed since our world is more right-handed dominate; so why not the Star Wars Universe?
DarthDingDong brings us mod that will be the closest you’ll ever get in fighting left-handed in the first [i]Knights of the Old Republic[/i] game. From what I’m reading in the author’s readme file, this is a result of a failed modeling attempt. He tried to convert an Inyri Forge model and it turned out to be a null (nothing there) model. Well, in case this will be useful information for the author if he wants to release a [i]Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords[/i] version of this mod, he can get null models for each of the games from the [url=http://kotortool.starwarsknights.com/]KOTOR Tool[/url] to save the trouble. :p
How this mod works is you equip a invisible sword the author has provided and then you either equip another sword or a lightsaber and it almost looks like you’re fighting left-handed. Well, it’s like I said earlier; it’s the closest you’re ever going to get in these games. An advantage would be that you appear that you have a single weapon, but you will be given dual weapon damage bonuses. If you’re a lefty (like me), and you really want to have that left-handed look or as close to it as possible, you may want to check this out. Enjoy the mod! :D
