Igni Ferroque is a mod for Medieval II: Total War - Kingdoms, created by AleksiMizaro.

I'm a huge fan of vanilla M2TW with over 2000 hours playtime but some parts just infuriate me and there are plenty of units/ factions that are either straight upgrades or useless. Igni Ferroque is a multiplayer balance mod that sticks closely to the vanilla style. The aim is to create a whole new balance which should allow much more satisfying gameplay by rewarding good strategy.
To install:
1. Rename teutonic folder to teutonic1 in [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods].
2. Move the downloaded folder inside the .zip (it's called teutonic) into [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods].
3. Go to (C:\Program Files [x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\data].
4. Copy the sounds folder from there into the mod [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\teutonic\data].
5. Run the mod by launching teutonic.
6. (optional) To keep your settings from vanilla, copy your preferences folder from: [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War] to [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\teutonic]
