I had a lot of fun with this. The bases actually move like a starship, meaning they bank on turns. The Consortium base looks the most natural because of it's design, and the Rebel's base doesn't look too bad. However, only the level 1 Imperial starbase looks ok moving around, after that it looks awkward. Not that anything can be done about it outside of changing the base entirely.
When you really think about it, the Death Star was capable of moving around. 'Nuff said.
