Mysterious Island

This file was originally sent in as eight parts, I'm assuming this was due to it's size...however, for ease of downloading, and convenience, I have made it available as a single download; If there is need, I will also make it available as it was sent in, as eight individual downloads.

The [b]Mysterious Island[/b] mod is the creation of a Russian modder, [i]AVA2006[/i], who has a soft spot for Literary great [url="http://www.kirjasto.sci.fi/verne.htm"]Jules Verne[/url]. AVA2006 enjoyed the creativity of Jules Verne's [url="http://www.online-literature.com/verne/mysteriousisland/"]The Mysterious Island[/url] book so much, that he based this mod on it.

[i]The Mysterious Island follows the adventures of a group of castaways who use their survivalist savvy to build a functional community on an uncharted island. A hot-air balloon carrying five passengers and a dog escapes from Richmond, Va., during the American Civil War. It is blown off course and deposited near an obscure island. One of the castaways nearly dies after a skirmish with pirates; he is saved by the unexplained appearance of medicine after the pirates are unexpectedly routed. The group later discovers that their secret helper is the reclusive Captain Nemo (first introduced in Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea), who dies and is buried at sea in his submarine. The castaways are eventually saved by a passing ship.[/i]

As you play this mod, you will be able to grasp the amount of time, effort and energy that went into it's development; While you are attempting to complete it, you will have the opportunity to explore all there is to see, enjoy some picturesque scenes on the Island...but don't stop to smell the roses too often, as a stationary target makes for an easy kill.
