Noghri Knight

If you took out the 'in a galaxy far, far away' you could almost be forgiven for thinking this is some kind of armour wearing Ogre or Orc from 'a long time ago'. Of course you could also just say this guy is from 'A long time ago, in far, far away land.' XD

This happy looking fellow is a Noghri Knight, and if he was green you genuinely could quite easily use him as an Orc or Ogre, in fact I was a little disappointed there wasn�"�t a green version to be honest. An idea for the future perhaps? Anyways, the Noghri model is one of those models that probably isn�"�t considered particularly versatile, but as this skin, and the authors other Noghri skin, 'Noghri Jedi' shows, even such models can get a new lease of life! I was particularly impressed with the specular shader for the armour as it makes it shimmer in the light as you move, which adds that extra depth to the armour plates.

There are also team skins, with red and blue armour. Personally I prefer more subtle colour changes for the team colours, such as a sash/belt or the trim on the clothes etc., but this still looks cool! One thing I do think needs some work is the taunt, which is one of the ordinary sounding human taunts, which doesn�"�t really fit with the Noghri grunts used for the rest of the sounds. I think a snippet from the brief Noghri dialogue from the h_evil in SP, maybe the 'leave this place!' that they should would have sounded cool, but its no big issue.

All in all a very cool skin here, both this and the authors Noghri Jedi show just what can be done with even those models that don�"�t seem particularly versatile for skinning. Keep up the excellent work Kalek Da'karr! :)
