Capable of launching shuttles, but you will need to have the "Shuttle Launching Framework" mod for it to work. In guaging the ship in game, I would put it with in the late 2290 cr. TMP era to the 2344 cr. Enterprise-C era. The Polo Class is equipped with Durandel's torpedoes. Over all the ship handles well. But in my opinion, the phaser arcs are limited with the Ventral side of the ship. Offering an opening for attack, during manual combat. Forcing you too handle the helm more aggressively. But, the Dorsal coverage is worth noting, excellent targeting.

Regardless, the Polo Class Type: II can handle herself against the Alpha quadrant species. But the Borg are a different ball game all together. Even with the Polo's wingman, the Type: I, the battle against the Borg Tetrahedron was an "eye opening" experience.

The Polo Class Type:II, will make an excellent addition to your Federation Fleet!
