Revenge of the Sith Clone Armors

Don Kain is back once again, with yet another mod related to the Clone Troopers from the movies. This time, he's given us a several sets of armour and helmets, as well as a gun and several texture tweaks to use in the first [i]Knights of the Old Republic[/i] game. He appears to have gathered the models and textures from a number of different sources and brought them all together into this one pack, so that they are all compatible.

The Clone Armours are all of a good quality, and you can really see the resemblance to the armour from the films. The armour will replace all the Republic Uniforms that you see throughout the course of your game. The helmets are also of good quality. Like the armour, you can definitely see what the helmets are. They were modelled well, and fit in will with the armour. There is also a Clone head included, which replaces the heads of all the Republic Soldiers you see, so they really are clones. There is a DC-15 blaster model included as well, which by the looks of it has been modelled and textured accurately.

Carth Onasi and Trask Ulgo will also have this Clone head instead of their regular heads once you install this mod. There is also a reskin of Carth's clothing included in this download, which is based on the outfits that you see the Clones wearing on Kamino in Attack of the Clones, just to keep in with the Clone theme. Carth and Trask are both soldiers for the Republic, are they not? So why shouldn't they become Clone Troopers if the other soldiers in the game are, right? Right.

Along with all these NPC replacements and reskins, there is also an area reskin included. DK has taken the Republic Embassy on Manaan and reskinned all the banners in there to have symbols from the Clone Wars era. He has also replaced the symbols on the computer screens and other digital displays to have these new symbols too, so as to keep in with the Clone Wars era theme.

Overall, this is a well executed mod, which has obviously had a lot of work put into it. The armours and helmets don't look out of place in the games 'era' as you might expect, so if you like the 501st legion, there's really no excuse not to try this mod out for yourself!

There are a lot of textures included in this mod, so make sure to look at all the screenshots, to check them all out. After all, [i]a picture is worth a thousand words...[/i] :p
