Sith Academy Tweaks

The Sith Academy on Korriban was a fun place to visit, but its members really didn't add to the experience with their horrific fashion sense. I was left wondering from my first playthrough why Dark Jedi were dressed as Sith officers rather than as, well, Dark Jedi.

This mod fixes that to a degree. Uthar, Yuthura, Jorak, and the four main Sith students (Lashowe, Mekel, Shardaan, Dustil) are now wearing Dark Jedi robes like the ones your character has. Uthar also has a suit of one of the game's blacker armors on, though I think the skintight pants make it look somewhat silly on him. Since he's been buffed to 150 HP, though, that makes up for it. :p

In addition, Adrenas has been turned into a Twi'lek because he speaks like one. BioWare's explanation for why he did was conceivable (he was raised on a world outside the Republic so the Republic's trade language wouldn't have been necessary for most people to know), but all that same it felt more like an excuse for them to not have to pay one of the voice actors to record some extra lines. :p

Note, however, that this mod has several bugs. The first of which is Yuthura showing up in her old outfit in the cantina - not game-ruining or anything, but annoying if you like things consistent. (She had time to change clothes between there and the academy how?) The other, while technically not a bug, is that the mod alters appearance.2da and doesn't use the TSLPatcher. This unfortunately makes it incompatible with an umber of other mods out there.
