[Contest] Unsung saber

This is a contest hilt submitted by Unsung Hero. Now, since this is a more technical review, I’ll get right to it.

The model in this saber is very simple. It’s essentially a hexagonal tube with one part extruded and the vertices on both ends moved around a bit. Another thing about the model is that it is very wide. When I was testing the saber it went through the hand of the model, whereas if I used a different saber that didn’t happen That’s about it with the model, on to the texturing. Like the model, the texturing is simple, and somewhat repetitive. Only one pattern is used for the grip of the saber, a gold and black texture was used for a raised part of the model, and a red version of the previously mentioned texture was used for the on button of the model. This saber uses a shader, but it’s just a shader to diffuse the light over the skin. That’s about it for the technical aspects of this hilt.
