Into the Second Breach

This is a revised version of the Into the Second Breach Map.

[b]Map Info[/b]:
This time with no second breach.... if that made sense. instead of the backway there is now an opening to the hill for artillery fire to be entrenched. The opening is also widened compared to Relic's original, making it easier to get troops back and forth. There is also a critical location now in the middle, for take and hold missions. Each team has the same amount of points in the original, but I've added a slag deposite for faster teching. More cover around the map makes for some great tactical engagements. This map is by far better than the original, in my opinion, and is slightly larger. Have fun!

Similar in landscape to the vey recently released Frozen Assault (1.0) this does look like a cool battlefield but the symmetric shape to the map is a bit of a let down. It gets easy to predict movement and where the enemy will build. There isn't much cover except for a few craters and minor dunes and the map is a tad on the small side. It would be a good size if more cover and impassable terrain was on the map. However it is a good map and is worth checking out especially if you enjoyed the first version.
