New Scoundrel Clothes

The Scoundrel is one of three different classes you can choose from in the first [i]Knights of the Old Republic[/i] game head selection screen. Being a Scoundrel is the class I prefer as I later become a Jedi Consular. The first time I ever made a head selection when the first [i]Knights of the Old Republic[/i] game came out back on July 18, 2003, I chose being a Scoundrel because I recalled Princess Leia calling Han Solo that and so I thought it was fitting to choose it. I later chose to be a Jedi Guardian because I wanted a blue lightsaber, but that’s enough about that for now.

Each of the three classes you can choose from come with different styles of default clothing. Kalos makes his modding debut on KotorFiles (you may have seen his work at JK3Files) with new skins for the male and female scoundrel default clothing. One of the things the author added was some armor texture to the male texture.

The thing is even though some people like the style of clothing (with or without this skin the author made) in either class, it’s not very desirable to use because it offers no protection or bonuses that you can get when you start finding new armor to wear. It’s almost a waste to wear it if you desire extra protection. The author did add some bonuses to the default clothing item. Even though the author made new modified UTI item to make wearing the new Scoundrel skin desirable, it will effect anybody in the game that wears it in any class you want to be and will add bonuses to any of your party members that start off wearing it like Carth, Mission, Bastila, and Canderous; who start off with it when they join your party (assuming their UTC file is not modded).

The default clothing UTI file now comes with:
+5 Dexterity
+5 Defense
+3 To All Saving Throws
