Twin Wolves

Well, what do you know! Jose, one of our former reviewers has sent us in a new mod to review! :D

What we have here is a saber mod, which adds two new hilts for you to use ingame. As Jose explains in his readme, and as the title suggests, these hits are designed around the theme of Wolves. Now, personally I think I prefer Wolves to dogs, dogs slobber all over you… whereas Wolves seem to be a little more polite in that respect. That is if they don’t eat you before you get that close! But anyway, I digress. :P

Both hilts have some nice patterning on the main body of the hilt, and as you can see from the screenshots below, the emitter where the saber blade emits from is shaped like the head of a wolf! The part in particular I was very impressed with as the detail is very good and makes these hilts very unique.

Of the two hilts here, one is a nice silvery colour, which reminds me of the Grey wolves that you generally see in pictures, and the other reminds me of the much scarier looking Black Wolves. It even has green eyes… so perhaps it was meant to be styled after the Hound of the Baskervilles!

As for things to improve upon…well I couldn’t find any bugs with these hilts and both are well made and look great so I am having a hard time thinking of things to suggest! One thing I think would be cool is if there were some more 3D detail added to the pommel of the hilt, since at the moment it is just a simple dome. Perhaps a spike on the end in the style of a Wolf’s tail or other similar things would look good.

Overall though two very nice saber hilts here, so if you are a fan of Wolves and other similar animals, or just like the look of these hilts, give them a download! :)

Oh and before I forget, I wouldn’t recommend actually trying to construct the ‘butt kicking’ machine mentioned in the readme, it may prove lethal…MWAHAHAHA!!!
