Description
If you're having problems downloading this through WoW's built in downloader, you can download it from us.
The expedited patch for softlock issues affecting some users at login and during battlegrounds has been released; v1.11.1 Build 5462.

After you download the .zip file, unzip it to your world of warcraft folder, it'll create a folder called "wow-patch (1.11.0.5428 - 1.11.1.5462)". Open the folder and run the "Blizzard Updater.exe" and you're in business!

From Blizzard:
If you are getting a message stating that the patch cannot be applied because it requires a different version, please open your World of Warcraft folder and delete the folder called "wow-patch". Then double click on BNUPdate to start the patching process again. (or run the Blizzard Updater.exe file mentioned above, same thing) - source: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-tech-support&t=959917&p=1&tmp=1#post959917
