Description I regret saying I've never had the pleasure or displeasure(whatever the case may be,) or playing DF2, although I've considered investing in it sometime. However, I am a bit caught up in how DF2 presented Kyle Katarn, both in and out of game O_o.
So, that being said, I can vouch decently for the similarity of attire presented here. I say attire because the faces have experienced no changes, even though they should have. The DF2 Kyle, if I'm not mistaken, had a lighter shade of hair and facial hair. This point made, we'll just march straight to the clothing. The in-game character looked a lot different than the cutscene character on grounds that A.) Shirt was different and B.) The cutscenes were actual films of actors, as opposed to models. As such, two versions we necessary. The ingame version's clothing looks spot on from what I've seen, especially in what little detail DF2 had to offer. The clothes look like they have that ragged, scruffy, and faded look to them. A fine job, I must say. The Cutscene version is basically a quick shirt change of sorts. Believe it or not, I'd say he outdid Raven easily in shirt detail. Generally, it seems not too different, but the shirt is actually much more vibrant, realistic thanks to the VERY natural wrinkles and folds, and doesn't look like a potato sack wrapped around Kyle's torso ._. . I think the only thing that would have made me wonder here is why the weird armpit patches are so large O_o otherwise, spectacular work.
The rest of the outfit consists of black pants, some boots whose color I can't discern from ingame due to their darkness, and of course, some nice little accessories. The gloves were removed, bracers replacing as protection. The brown items were also brightened up, making them a little more noticeable, in a good way. Definitely a superb change.
Sounds were included in the package, taken from DF2, to complete the experience. Good quality, and quite enjoyable. =_= Everything else is also in there. You can't really go wrong with this package. I would recommend making an optional Kyle replacement in this package, without a doubt. This would make Kyle much more tolerable to behold.
