Light of the Spire is another addition to the AI War: Fleet Command. It requires a basic version and enriches it with massive quantities of new elements significantly affecting the gameplay, including new fraction of opponents.
Addition brings a total of 180 new types of vessels divided into nine classes, including massive Spire cruisers, which are larger than anything the human fleet, though at the same time, a little smaller than the machines created by golem vessels. The extension also introduces a new type of free campaign named Defender, which is based on protecting the specific objectives and is ideal for short games. In addition, the add-in includes a new campaign narrative focused on the title race of aliens.
