Son of the Crusades Demo

The makers of the [b]Son of the Crusades[/b] total conversion mod decided to quickly follow up on the release of the High and Low Resolution trailers with a working demo! They have provided two versions of the demo, a collectors version and a lite version. Both are the same version, with the biggest difference being the size. The lite version weighs in at 28 mbs, while the collectors version is a hefty 270+ mbs.

[u]Lite version[/u]: Pretty much cut down to the core game, no extras.
[u]Collectors version[/u]: Lots of bonus material, such as: high quality promo-video (already hosted on FarCryFiles), images from the developer's workflow, ideas for other mods they've made and more.


This mod is set in the medieval age somewhere in Arabia, the singleplayer story will begin in 1181. You are playing Kaseem, a boy left alone who learned the arabian school of fighting from a stranger who picked him up. Once being an expert in martial arts, Kaseem turns into a thief that executes several orders. In the demo level you get an assignment where you have to steal an objective in a cave. In the level you will stand face to face, sword to sword and crossbow to crossbow with bandits.




Note: After installing the game, some files (.bat files to run the mod and the menu system in html/java format) will be installed into your bin32 folder. This might affect your online gaming since punkbuster checks the bin32 folder. If you don't want to effect your on-line gaming, you can either:
Make a backup copy of the Far Cry game to a new folder, and install this demo there; or
If you [u]uninstall[/u] the mod before playing online you should be on the safe side, since all these files will be deleted properly.
