Batman fever is upon us! With The Dark Knight blasting box-office records all over the place it was only inevitable that we would get lots of Batman themed mod’s here at JKFiles. Although saying that, up till now they have mainly been Joker mod’s, so perhaps I should call it ‘Joker fever’. ;)

Here Bluetooth brings us the latest in the recent flurry of Joker skins. However this time we have one for JK2!

So, lets have a look at this latest Joker skin.

Firstly, accuracy. Personally I think this skin looks more like the more comic-book styled Joker. Similar to the version played by Jack Nicholson that appeared in Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman film (with very brightly coloured clothes), as opposed to the extremely creepy psychopathic Joker portrayed by the late Heath Ledger in the most recent film (whith more muted coloured clothes). Looking at the skin, he has all the Jokers trademark attributes, the big red ‘smile’ garishly coloured clothes and green hair.

All in all then a fairly accurate skin here, however as with all mod’s there are some things I feel could be improved upon. Mainly I think the team skins need to be changed so that it is clearer which team the skin belongs to. Saying that, the method used for colouring the team skins is very clever. Basically the Jokers tie changes to either red or blue depending on the team. As much as I really love the subtleties of that, it is a bit difficult to tell the skins apart because only a very small area has been re-coloured. Another thing is that I feel that this particular model (it looks to be the Galak Fyarr model) has a large belt which is part of the player model and I think that this looks somewhat out of place. Perhaps a skin with less 3D detailing would have been better, saying that though, the hair on this particular player model does look like the Jokers messed up hair! :P

On the plus side though, this skin does have bot support, which combined with team support and a few new sounds (like the Jokers crazy laugh used as the ‘dying’ sound) from the new movie means there are plenty of good features with this skin.

Overall though a well-rounded skin here, though there is some room for improvement. If you are a fan of the Jokers, love the new Batman film or just like the look of this skin, then give it a download! :)
