Description
This hilt is, according to the read-me, \"an evil saber that radiates with evil.\" Descriptive, no? Well from the perspective of a downloader, it\'s a fine-looking hilt, albeit a little bland. From a modeler\'s perspective I want to cry tears of stone.

Let\'s go with the relative positives first. It\'s an interesting hilt, although I don\'t know what beyond the author\'s imagination is supposed to make it look evil. To me it looks more like vines or a branch than something \"evil.\" The model\'s pretty efficient with its polyflow, although the sphere at the bottom is probably a little too detailed. The texturing is overall quite bland, though.

Now onto the bads. Firstly, it seems like beyond the model itself the author didn\'t do anything else, including make the textures. Judging from the way the bottom orb texture tiles, I suspect he just grabbed it off somebody\'s website, or Google. The UV maps also look untouched, which tells me that the author was just looking for a quick release. As a result the textures do not reflect the shape of the mesh in any way, which explains why they\'re so bland. To be honest this is the kind of behavior I\'d expect from a new modeler who is not yet completely familiar with his or her software. To see it from someone with such previous experience... well, that simply suggests laziness to me. I sincerely hope that more effort is put into any future models and this author doesn\'t continue to take the cheap and easy path.
