Fixes for the AI in F1 2010, improved car handling.AIFSB HC Modification:

FILES:

f1 2010/ai/ai_driver_config.xml...Increased AI awareness of other cars, smoother cornering, and ability to avoid.

f1 2010/ai/catchup.xml............Makes the AI relax when ahead and fight when behind, this file has been changed to be more subtle than the original.

f1 2010/database/database.bin.....Field spread changed to the same as the 2010 season, increased AI aggressiveness and general AI ability, every track set to 40 laps which is 8 laps on 20 percent races, no rain in career, removed slow and collision race rules, fixed AI qualifying times.

f1 2010/system/flow.bin...........Save game fix so you can add mods without messing up the game save.

f1 2010/tracks/circuits/..........The raw speed of the AI, this has been balanced against the fastest car in the game for each track to ensue very good competition in races.

f1 2010/surface_materials.xml.....Generalised the different surfaces of the track to improve handling, for instance curb spinning is much reduced.

INSTALLATION:

Unpack and copy the contents of the f1 2010/ folder to your f1 2010/ game folder.

It is recommended to start a new game after installing any mods.

INPUT LAG FIX:

Laggy controls in F1 2010 are caused by the rapture3d sound, to fix this go to AUDIO OPTIONS>AUDIO DRIVERS and select the SOFTWARE option.

NOTES:

When all of the above files are put together the AI will behave much more realistic, a video is available to show the action in continuous shots of two different tracks, there is no fancy editing to make it look better than it really is ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nke_hOiFfNM

This modification will not work well with other mods of similar design, this package is designed as one mod and it will not work properly if separated, this mod will work best if installed onto a virgin installation of F1 2010, this mod is 100 percent my own work. (Tox Laximus)
