Description This mod represents over 1000 hours of work. It affects every aspect of the game to some degree.
There are too many changes to list them all, a partial list follows:
- Adjustment to in game lighting. This includes removing the haziness that was present in the world map view.
- Across the board balance adjustments to unit strength and skills.
- Magic nodes and range nodes are not as powerful as in stock games.
- 2 new tyes of melee nodes and a higher a greater % chance to get multi hex nodes.
- Many tweaks that remove or reduce game exploits.
- Over 100 retextures ranging that include spells, runes, ground terrain, buildings and units.
- Over a dozen neutral units added in.
- More variety in arena types.
- Added Empire Pegasus units and an Elven Druid leader.
- Summoned units now dispel after using their main skill.
- Summoned units are now physically immune so they no longer act as ai magnets.
- Dozens of more respawns and dungeon combinations to increase variety.
- Added many new features to world map terrain.
- Adjusted the thief to have two main skill types in 2 different strengths.
- Added new skills and bonuses to world map buildings.
- Seperate adjustments for Hotseat and Campaign modes. To Install the Retribution Mod
1: Make sure to back up the games roignal resources and system folders to a new and safe location.
This step is important in case you ever what to restore the game to stock withour reinstalling it.
2: Copy the resources ans system folder of this patch into your game's disciples 3 folder
and allow all files to be over written.
3: Begin a new game so all modded changes are applied.
Note- By default the mod is set to Campaign Map Mode. The CampaignMapMode and HotseatMapMode folders
are not required to install the mod. They are only to change the Map options for Hot seat games.
