Boarding of a spaceship

Well, Dark-San has made another map. Or rather, two maps. This file consists of two maps, a FFa spaceship, and a CTF spaceship.

First off, the map feels cramped. The reason? Tight corridors. Given that it\'s a small ship, I guess that it\'s fitting. The textures for this map are...repetitive to say the least. And the doors. Dark-San hasn\'t scripted the doors at all. So you have to hack your way through the doors. The engine room I found to be [i]very[/i] spartan. Meaning that it doesn\'t look like an engine room. It looks like a block with cylinders going out ot the wall. Remember, modeling is your friend. So is scripting.

Another thing. If you go outside the ship (only via noclip or teleporting) and you fall off, you don\'t die. Which might be good for some people, but, you can\'t get back up. So, that\'s a mixed bag.

The CTF version was simple. It\'s just the FFA map reflected on itself. It wasn\'t even done to what you might expect. On one side there\'s a turret pointing towards the stairs leading up to the flag area, and on the otherside you have the same turret facing away from the stairs.

There were also areas (albiet small ones) with missing textures. It would have been nice if the author had included these textures.

But, if this is your cup of tea, give it a shot.
