Description Ah yes, our friendly neighborhood Ep3 Clonetrooper is back for another spin. Since this is a new version of the old one I shall quote Averus (if that’s legal) and only talk about the changes. What we have here, is a stormtrooper, reskinned to become a: Clonetrooper. Or rather three clonetroopers as there is team support *yay*. When I first opened the email there was only one thing on my mind, and I thought I'd get it out. Why not use an actual clone trooper model? The only answer I could come up with was that there already is that kind of a skin for most clone troopers.
And now for the quote:
When I saw this placed upon the altar, I knew automatically it was going to be a stormtrooper reskin. The whole presentation of it made it obvious. However, it wasn't done without total lack of thought.
Basically, if you all recall the EP3 stormtrooper with blue paint on his helm, all that the author did was paint the shoulder pads and the helm to match it. I don't quite recall offhand if there was anything below, but I would think there would be. Regardless, it's a very basic reskin. The pluses would be that the author included bot and team support for his creation. My only suggestion is probably to put a little more effort into it if possible.
Now, this really isn't all that bad, and most of the skinning has been done fairly well. The thing that was not taken into consideration by the author (and pretty much ruins it for me) is mirroring of the "new" battered armor. Both the front and back have such clearly symmetrical scorch marks it makes the clone look like a masochist o_O.
Despite that small issue I have with the skin it should still be worth your download if your looking for a new stormie, or clonie, or something to sharpen the scorching blade of your lightsabre upon for we have bot support.
